This place is amazing. We have been twice, the first time we were served by Ricardo, his is so friendly and we had fun getting to know him (it was a slow day). The second time we were served by Sarah, she is wonderfully attentive and very kind. We have tried: Tomatillo chimichanga with green sauce Birria chimichanga with red sauce Grilled chicken chimichanga with red sauce Tacos locos Green chili cheese crisp All were very good. Our favorites so far are the Tomatillo chimi and the Grilled chicken chimi. We love it here, definitely give it a sho. It might become one of your favorites too. Also, weirdly, they make great coffee and have cool coffee cups.

Carlota's - Friendly service and flavorful Mexican fare! Warm welcome: Our server made us feel right at home, even my picky nephew who just devoured a plain cheeseburger (and declared it delicious!). Chimichanga delight: My shredded beef chimichanga hit the spot, smothered in tangy green sauce and enchilada goodness. Beans and rice were perfectly cooked accompaniments. Worth a repeat: Carlota's earns high marks for both food and service. I'll be back, and you should be too!

Attractive restaurant with solidly good menu. The mariachi group on Friday adds a wonderful touch. Felt like I was in Cabo or Puerto Vallarta for a couple of hours. Have dined here at least 4 times and it’s consistently good.

Carlota's Authentic Mexican Restaurant is absolutely my favorite Mexican food restaurant! The Mariachi band plays on Friday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00. Live music adds such excitement to the atmosphere. The singer, Olivia, has such a strong, magnificent voice! Amazing! She also plays the violin. The trumpet player adds a brilliant tone. He is really a talented musician. There were two different kinds of guitars that supported this lively performance. I have eaten at several different Mexican restaurants in the area. In my opinion, Carlota's has them all beat! The food has great flavor. The portions are a good value. The ambiance is uplifting. A shout out to our mesero, Ricardo. Thank you for the great service and hospitality. I love visiting Arizona and a dinner at Carlota's makes my visit complete.

Outstanding Mexican Restaurant! The food was AMAZING — the venue was outstanding — and the service was superb. Highly recommend this fabulous local restaurant for anyone looking for the best overall experience in the Catalina foothills area. Nicely done Ricardo (our 5-star server)

Fantastics Mexican Restaurant serving up some scrumptious food. Ricardo our server was excellent, friendly, efficient. The food was tasty, authentic and worth coming back for more. Good restaurant and certainly recommend.

Our first time at the new space. Looks beautiful and the staff and food are still consistently good. As all restaurants, they are a bit understaffed , so be kind and be patient. It is worth the wait. Their tacos, enchiladas, and flautas are always good choices. They now have a full bar with great Margarita and beer choices as well. Another plus, their homemade salsa is the best

I could take lots of pictures. Trust me this food is so good you will kick your self if you didn't come hear. Drinks food atmosphere. The upgraded kitchen. The wonderful staff. And a reasonable price for your dinning pleasures. Don't take my word come and see for yourself. Tucsons gonna love the new look.
